I have been doing Scripware for 3 days straight.

THREE.
DAYS.
STRAIGHT.
three days of facing prescriptions and requisitions
which happen to have numerous legal and clinical errors

hello, you doctors/ nurses/ dentists/ vets sleeping ka?

and most of all, I hate vet prescriptions.
lemme repeat that. I HATE VET PRESCRIPTIONS.

I've lost count of the number of times I've murdered
Toby the dog and Tiddles the cat, dammit.

how. annoying.
aargh.

couple more hours to my assessment
then byebye Scripware for the next 3 weeks!

Say hi to my new friend :)

There she was, sitting on the shelf, at a distance.
The only one among the rest who were unlike her.

The moment I laid eyes on her,
I fell in love. I had to have her.

She was the last of her kind,
the others were of an alien easter chick race.

She looked at me with those pretty eyes
and I melted. I took her home.

So everyone, meet my bamster.
She's supposed to be a (easter) bunny
but everyone said she looked more like a hamster.

I named her Xenical,
coz as you can see, she's a bit on the heavy side.
(but don't tell her that, it'll hurt her self-esteem)

Love it :)

~Sempurna~

Woke up to this song playing on my play list.
Immediately the memories and the past feelings came flashing back.Imagine ur standing right in front of a railway crossing, very close to the barrier/gate with the train passing by right in front of you and the each passenger window carries an imagine a memory from the time.
Flashing by.
Memories of when you were in need of someone, and i was there.

It was all that matters to you and i gave it my all
Hold on,Don't stray,
Tell you why:I say its infinitely true.

Kau begitu sempurna
Dimataku kau begitu indah
Kau membuat diriku akan slalu memujimu

Disetiap langkahku
Kukan slalu memikirkan dirimu
Tak bisa kubayangkan hidupku tanpa cintamu

Janganlah kau tinggalkan diriku
Takkan mampu menghadapi semua
Hanya bersamamu ku akan bisa

[Reff:]
Kau adalah darahku
Kau adalah jantungku
Kau adalah hidupku
Lengkapi diriku
Oh sayangku, kau begitu
Sempurna... Sempurna...

Kau genggam tanganku
Saat diriku lemah dan terjatuh
Kau bisikkan kata dan hapus semua sesalku

Janganlah kau tinggalkan diriku
Takkan mampu menghadapi semua
Hanya bersamamu ku akan bisa

[Reff:]
Kau adalah darahku
Kau adalah jantungku
Kau adalah hidupku
Lengkapi diriku
Oh sayangku, kau begitu
Sempurna... Sempurna...

I miss baking! :)

Ooooh because I haven't baked for so long
I decided to start with something simple
just in case my skills went a bit rusty :p

So just to try my hand at baking again,
I decided on a chocolate banana crumble :)

Bananas...
Flour...
Drinking chocolate...
Sugar...
and butter...
Mix 'em all up....

Add some brazil nuts...

Sprinkle the mixture over the bananas...
Sprinkle the rest of the brazil nuts on top...

Bake in the oven for 40 mins...
Remove and leave to cool...
Not bad, look quite like the illustration on the recipe :)

Serve! :)

Yum :)

A Sunday chance encounter

Today I met a little boy
as I was heading back to home
He had with him an oversized toy
but apart from that he was alone.

His eyes had a sad sparkle
his speech chatty yet reserved
The sky was clear and didn't yield a trickle
it was a wonderful day to be on a bicycle.

He pointed out it's faults and flaws
The rusty chains and the peeling paints
the clunking sound he couldn't take anymore
It looked like it had been through a war!

He struggled to ride a bike too large for him
picture a boy, maybe no more than ten
Legs hardly extending beyond the rim
but he persisted, it was going to make him a man.

He told me of a new bike he was to get soon
Shame his mother was dead, he told me too.
His aunt lived, just around the corner
and it was she, who brought him up, he loved her.

As we parted ways
He said to me, "you have a good day!"
I smiled to myself as I entered my place
ah, the wonders of the Lord and his grace!

Today I met a little boy
Whose demeanour intrigued me
expressions puzzled me
and whose courage astounded me.

Thank you Lord, for these little blessings <3

Excessive, much?

So that day Sainsbury's was having a promotiion
where it was 2 jars of cook-in sauce going for £2
So I bought a jar of Homepride pasta sauce
and another jar of Sharwood's Tikka Masala sauce.

In addition, the naans were also going for 2 packs for £2
so I sapu sekaligus also la.

Came back,
made some chicken tikka masala,
made some naan to go with it...

let the others have a little taste, and boy was it goooood!

So our next trip to Sainsbury's, we bought more.
...and more...
... and more!
okay, I know this seems a bit excessive,
but hey,
they were cheap :D

One jar can last 2 meals summore, good deal wert :D

When you're surrounded by Malaysians...

The Omnomnomagon

"do you know what shape an omnomnomagon is?"
"WHAT?"
"no idea"
HAHAHA :D

Manchester Day 3: Home of the Devils

WHOO!
I finally have the time to sit down
and do my last blog entry on Manchester!

Yes, I know it was forever ago,
but it's OLD TRAFFORD...
you can't say you're not curious, eh? ;)

So anyway, we took the tram there
coz it's a bit out of the way from the city

When we arrived in Old Trafford,
the Stadium was a little walk away from the station
so we took in some sights on the way...
Not long after, we arrived at the Stadium!
Bought tickets to the museum and tour
it's a shame they didn't provide tour only tickets
coz due to time constraints,
we couldn't go look at the museum anyway :(

But then again for a student price of £8.50,
I think I shouldn't be complaining :p
Okay let's go! :)

We had a really good tour guide :)
He was funny and really informative,
so it made the tour all that more enjoyable!

Meet Mr Stewart Brown...
Heehee :)
After telling us about the pitch,
we had a tour through the Munich Tunnel,
which commemorates the Munich Air Disaster of 1958.
We also got to see the players' changing rooms!
We also went to kepoh in the stands... :D
As a matter of principle,
I won't go stand in the "home" stands :D

Last pic with the pitch!
yay! :)

Then the exit is designed in a way
that we HAVE to go through the merchandise store
LOL.
oh and there was this most adorablest teddy!
oh dear I fell in love with it
the moment I laid eyes on it
just too bad that it shed quite a bit of fur
and I didn't think I could handle the thought
of having a bald teddy in a couple of months
(not to mention a very runny nose from allergies)

I was even thinking of a name for it already
awww... such a shame :(

So that wraps up my trip to Manchester! :)

Sorry it was stretched over such a very long time :p

All play and no work makes Kimmy a girl with bad grades.
Now I've got to go back to my Toxicology assignment.
Bleargh.
