The Big Knit 2009 :)

there's actually this charity project going on

it's sponsored by Innocent Drinks and Sainsbury's

in support of Age Concern and Help The Aged

and basically, what the Big Knit is all about,

is that people knit little hats for the smoothie bottles,

and send them off to Innocent Drinks.

and come 4th Nov 2009,

all the behatted Innocent smoothie bottles will be in stores

and for every behatted smoothie bottle sold,

Sainsbury's will donate 35p to the concerned charities.

I think it's adorable :)

so I decided to contribute as well

and because I've only just picked up knitting

I didn't dare venture much more than just the beginner's pattern

and so these are my little smoothie hats :)

they're not much,

but I'm still quite proud nonetheless :)

at least I tried :)
